Long Time No See

Okay so it has been a while. I just can't help it. I hooked my computer up to my TV which means I rarely use it, but it also means that I rarely post. Oh well, life moves on.
There are just a few updates and a few pictures.
Caitlin's birthday is coming up and there is a very special DOLL that she is trying to get. I am sure all of you have heard of American Girl. They are spendy dolls and I told Cait that if she wanted one she had to earn half the cash to get it. We gave her some idea's on how to earn the money and one of those was making hair bows to sell. Last weekend when we were at my mom's we got crafty. She made all the little flower clips and I made the big ones, and the headbands. My sis-in-law owns a salon so we left most of them with her, but if you would like one they range from $1 to $5. She would love you forever if you donated to her cause.
Other than that, nothing super interesting. Dave had the whole weekend off so we have been laying around just enjoying ourselves. I have watched alot of Pawn Stars on Netflix the last few days. It's hilarious and interesting all in one. It makes me want to go to Vegas just to go shopping in their store. I just wish I had a cool item to take them and make some serious cash on it.
Well, until next time when I get a hold of a computer again.

Happy New Year!!

We have had such a great vacation. It seems like it went so fast, but when I look back, we did so much that it seems like so long ago.
For New Year's Eve though we were all big party poopers. We were so lazy all day long, and when I say lazy I mean lazy. Twelve or more hours of watching Ghost Adventures on Netflixs. We loved every minute of just chillin' as a family and not thinking of a thing. Having newly fallin' snow helped that too because we couldn't go anywhere. But it was so nice. And being lazy can make a person super tired so we went to bed early. I think that it was the first year ever that I have not stayed up til midnight. I'm getting old. We did get out and play in the new snow which was super fun. Dave even made me go out, which is just not me. I hate being cold and wet. Fortunately, Dave rescued a pair of overalls from his Grandpa's that fit me just fine and I wore my nice big Russian hat that kept my head nice and warm. I did skip out early to make the hot chocolate which was just fine with me. New Year morning we popped our poppers and cheered with the sparkling grape juice to the new year, had Aebleskiver's for breakfast and headed to Grandma's house to play. It was so nice to get out. We were there for six almost 7 hours. Aunt Heather and kiddo's came to play as well so we just got to sit and chat, and I went shopping for a bit and all was nice and wonderful.
I loved this vacation and I am super sad to see it go, but at the same time I am kind of excited to get back to normal in the morning.
Since we went to bed early New Year's Eve we couldn't do our sparklers so we did them today. I messed with the settings on my camera and took some pictures of the kids playing. They turned out cool, I think. Especially the last one of Cait's.
And just for update news if you weren't in Relief Society today and heard me cry my eyes out, Miss Belle is now in Sunbeams. I can't believe I am no longer a mother of a nursery baby. I just can't believe it? Where have the last 3 1/2 years gone? Apparently she was very good in primary and I can't wait to join her there next week. That's the other half of my news. I was called to the Primary Presidency (2nd counselor) today, okay last week but they sustained me today. I am really excited! So Happy New Year!!!!
