I Love My Husband :)

My husband is the best pamper' er in the whole world. I don't think that I have had a better Mothers Day than I did yesterday. First it started with breakfast in bed. I was given a menu and appetizers. Then came the delicious breakfast sandwiches, OJ, and roses. We all sat in my bed and enjoyed each others company. I wanted to go back to sleep, but unknown to me Dave had filled the tub with hot water and bubbles. It was nice to relax and not hear all the noise that my house seems to create all the time. Then he rubbed my sore legs for about a half an hour. When he went to the store at 11 p.m. he was trying to pick up for me THE HOST, by Stephenie Meyer, but I guess that Tooele Walmart didn't realize how popular her books are now and only ordered a very few. So instead of a book I got a LED flashlight. Which is cool because I was just telling Dave's mom Friday night that I wanted one and I thought he had over heard, but he was just getting something so that he wasn't empty handed. So it was great and I loved every minute until I got to tired to handle the whining and then I was done for the day. THANK YOU, David for being the best husband in the world and caring so much about me. I don't know how I got so spoiled to have such a loving, spoil happy, husband? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

I Never Want to Do That Again!

Okay it was an okay Saturday, I shouldn't say I don't want to do it again. But I was so tired and still have not caught up on my sleep. I woke up at the crack of dawn (6 a.m.) to get Cait and I ready to go to the dance competition at Lagoon. We were there by around 8:15 a.m. We stood in line for about 1o minutes, then just casually walked through Lagoon until we found Miss Pam. It was really cold and Cait was in her little blue feather dress and princess robe. We stood for about a half an hour, maybe longer I lost track of time. We then finally walked down to the stage and they danced their little hearts out. I was volunteered to make sure that the kids got to their mothers so I only got to see Cait dance from behind. Okay considering that she has her dance review this Saturday, so not a big loss.
We then hightailed it through Lagoon so that we could get back to David and the other kids so that we could take them to the Zoo. Dave realized when we were on our way that it was going to be super busy, so he wasn't so keen on going anymore, but I drove and initiated calm when I used the south parking lot instead of the normal one. Besides the continuous up and down that the zoo offers it was really fun. We purchased a season pass so we didn't feel like we needed to see everything, so we left when we got tired and had no bad feelings from the day.
Cora loved these little monkey's. She just smiled huge when she saw them and didn't want to move.
The only assumed bad part of the day, but ended up being fun, was a benefit concert for my brother in laws friends little boy who has leukemia. A comedy group called Off the Wall, busted my gut. And then my second cousin on my moms, moms side did a little concert. We didn't get to see it all, but she is great. We got home at about 10:30 p.m. and Dave still needed to get my mothers day stuff together. So I went to bed with extremely sore legs and he went to the store. What a day, it was fun and each of those events would have been better on it's own, I don't ever want to put them together again.
Cait's first concert, wow I am so proud. I only found out I was related to Annelise when I met her at Dave's moms house after we were married. How many LeCheminant could there possibly be in the world. She and Dave's sister Kristy are best friends. Visit her web site http://www.annelise.us

Rubba Dub Dub, Three Kids in the Tub

Last Friday, Dave's parents came to our house for Cait's birthday. They brought us a present as well, a silly tub that we are going to use as a swimming pool, instead of buying a plastic one that will just get chewed by our dumb dog. So last night for FHE we filled the thing with water. Of course the water is still cold so Dave hooked the hose to the hot water faucet for our washing machine and wallah we had a warm tub to play in. Cora didn't like it so I didn't stay in long but Dave and the kids had fun. I didn't get a picture of Dave, he was working on getting more warm water in the tub, ya know water heaters don't last forever.
Enjoy the video, Cait is showing me how well she can put her head under the water.

What a Happy Day

Wow Caitlin had quite the day. We started with her favorite breakfast, crepes. Then her best Young cousin Samantha came over to share in her birthday. We had a busy morning running around trying to find a place to pierce her ears and when we found one they wouldn't do it without 2 ladies to do it. So after lunch and ice cream cake, we went back to Walmart and the nice ladies put pretty little pink earrings in Cait's ears. I have never seen Cait so happy. She was smiling from ear to ear. She hasn't stopped either. She said it hurt for a second, but she didn't even flinch when they did it. We then got to go bowling as a family. I just barely beat Caitlin. With the help of a strike in the 9th frame I only beat her by 9 points. That's sad I know. So we had a great day and Cait loved every minute of it. I also enjoyed seeing her so happy. I love my girl.

I set out her presents the night before and she couldn't go to bed until around midnight because she was so excited.
When our cousins got here and daddy finally got home we opened presents. She got a blowup princess bed, a beauty stand with play hair pretties and play makeup, she also got an art kit, and a cute little pink outfit. Samantha gave her some lip gloss and candy.
Samantha is also a girly girl so they played hair dresser with Caits new beauty stand. When we went to dance, Kaitlyn H. gave my Caitlin a Littlest Pet shop toy that Cait just loves. It is really cute.
And TA DA!! She got her ears pierced. I love them, and so does Cait. You just should have seen her face. It was priceless I should have taken my camera.
They finally received their ballet costumes. I love them. We finally figured out what to do with a strange gold ribbon that was floating around and it makes such a difference in the costume. It made the zigzag pattern in the front. Just imagine it without the ribbon, not as cute.
You know I couldn't leave Cora out of the pics. I feel bad that I didn't get Buddy, but I did get a cute video of him. Cora is just beautiful.

Premise behind the poll

Dave and I disagree on the right age to get our daughters ears pierced. Dave wants to wait a few more years, I want to do it next Wednesday when Cait turns 5. I got my ears pierced at 5 and see nothing wrong with it. SO I want to know what you think and also what your husbands think. Please respond to both poles, and then maybe leave a comment so I know what your thoughts are.

I'm Broken and I'm deserted Update.

So you all know that I hurt my back. And it hurt. I have been practically flat all week. Starting Wednesday night I started taking some of my pain meds from when I had Cora.:) So I was finally starting to walk straight and not hurt so bad. It still hurts to bend over, to pick up anything, and to get up from a laying position. So mostly I am okay. So today I went back to my brother-in-law for another adjustment. He let me know today that my left femur is 7 mm shorter than my right. My FEMUR??? Huh I didn't know that could happen? He gave me this nifty little insert for my shoe that lifts my left heel so that my legs are even. The hope is that my hips won't go out which will prevent my back from going out, which will prevent my neck from going out. It's all connected you know, "the back bones connected to your hip bone, the hip bone's connected to you leg bone....." I never knew that song would come in handy? So then I ask Brad, "It's flip-flop season, what do I do about that (he wants me to wear shoes ALL the time)?" He told me to take my sandals to a shoe repair shop and have them put a 7 mm lift in my left shoe. Don't ya think that is going to be a little spendy? was my first thought. But then he showed me an xray of a man that is 60 years old with severe back degeneration. He told me I could end up like that or I could spend a little money for a lift in my shoe. So there you go, for a week I was crooked and for the rest of my life ( okay it's been my whole life) I will have a short leg with nothing to do about it but wear a lift. Poor ME!
Now to the I'm deserted post. Dave is not going to his mom's this week. I still won't see him much, but at least he will be in Tooele. Thank you for all of your support and for being so nice to me. In 5 days we'll be one class down 12 more to go. Wish us luck.
