I can't believe it's been ten day's since I posted last. Busy Busy is all I can say. I'll give you a bit of a run down. ZOO, shopping (new clothes for me this time), gardening, cleaning, girls nights out, movie night, sewing, lots and lots of sewing, and alot of back aches. Mostly it has been a great 10 days. I think I might have a few pics that I should post, but I told Dave I was going to bed an hour ago and here I am still. But here is my little I am proud of me moment. Today I sewed a pioneer looking dress, and a bonnet to match in less than 10 hours. I know to some of you that might be a breeze, but for me I felt very accomplished. You have to calculate all the breaks into that to, so really it probably only took me about 7 1/2 to 8 hours. But whoop, whoop I am ready for trek now, and I don't have to stress any more. Bow, Bow, Bow.
In reference to my last post, Dawson once again prayed for the volcano's and asteroids, but this time it was that they don't blast or hit the earth, I think he's conflicted.

Busy Busy
Will the busy weekends ever stop? This weekend I was a bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding on Friday and today was Cait's dance review. All very fabulous, but I am very tired.
And today was the review, all went well and Cait was beautiful (but didn't we already know that?).
Thursday, my sis and I drove to Gunnison (I was kid less) and was so sweetly pampered by our sis-in-law. Dawn got her hair cut and put in some really hot buns, then we all got our faces waxed, super fun and oh so helpful. We didn't go to bed until almost midnight and were up by 6:30 to go get all prettied for the wedding. I have always loved short curly hair but have never really been able to pull it off, so my sis-in-law so graciously curled it.
I looked hotter than the Fourth of July and 6 months prego. I even had a cousin ask if I was:(
Then it was an hour and a half drive to Kanosh and an all day wedding, which actually turned out to be pretty entertaining. I was pampered and even given a homemade bottle of perfume from a Druid priest (I know you're jealous just admit it). And to end our lovely day we drove home for 3 hours. Having been up since 6:30 that didn't go so hot. It was all I could do to stay awake. Never again I say.
Enjoy the pics.

Oh Boy
Last night Dave found a baseball game for the Xbox and wanted Dawson to play with him. He started playing and then just gave up. When dinner was ready and Dave was talking to Dawson he said "Buddy I wanted you to play baseball with me." Dawson's response "Wha Wha Wha."

Mothers Day Weekend
Fun Fun for me. To start our weekend we went to my moms. We love it because it is planting season and we have never failed with a veggie plant bought from the nursery down the street from my parents. So yes we drove 2 and a half hours to buy tomato plants.

Cora put herself to bed after church today, closed the door and everything, and when I noticed I hadn't heard from her for a while I went to check and this is how I found her. Porky in her sleep.
We got to hang out at the farm on Saturday, which is always fun for the kiddo's and we had a fabulous steak BBQ that I could taste (whoop).
I love this pic of Miss Belle. She had wandered off into the hay field and got stuck around the poky weeds. So while she was standing there and couldn't move I took a couple of pictures.
Kiddo's at the farm looking for buried treasure. A little history. There was a family that used to live on the farm, only moved off in the last 6 years or so. Anyway, they had been there for 100 years just passing on the farm to the next generation, well when the last one finally moved off and they tore the cabin down, Dave has been interested in seeing if the family had left anything of worth around. So hence the treasure hunt.
And then we came home and I was pampered today. My fave breakfast in bed, which I couldn't taste, but it was great. Then off to church. I must say that there are some benefits to having your hubby in the bishopric, he was able to swing an hour off of nursery for me today. He gathered up some elders to come take my place. That was the best gift of the whole day.
We then went to visit my mom in law and then went to a rice eating ceremony for an Indian family that we know. India food is some of my fave and I was blessed to have my taste back by 6 so that I could enjoy it.
All in all it was a great Mother's Day. My two other favorite gifts were, really cool green glasses. very pretty, and Dave just put the kids to bed for me, stories and all. I love my family SO much and I am so blessed to have a great husband and super great kids. THANK YOU for all you do for me.;

I must complain
So most of you know I have been dealing with a sinus infection, now for almost 3 weeks. Well the infection is gone and I can breathe and mostly I would have to say I am normal, BUT, I can't taste anything and I still can't smell anything. The tasting I am dealing with, but the smelling, not so much. My lilacs and apple tree are in bloom and I can't smell them and they soon will be gone. I am super annoyed. And the tasting thing will not be okay if I can't taste and smell by Sunday, I will be one pissed princess (forgive the language). We are going to an India restaurant Sunday for a friends babies rice eating ceremony and if I can't taste my fave food, oooo, someone will pay. I just wanted you all to know that.
On a happy note, we have lots and lots of baby birds in our garage. We were working in there when we heard this really strange noise outside. Dave walked out and told us all to come out, there was a mad mommy waiting to get in the garage with a worm in her mouth. So we came out, backed up and waited for her to go in. She slowly hopped down the tree and checked in the garage, then she flew in and flew out like 3 times. We realized that she was bothered by the lights being on, so I ran in turned them off. After double checking again, she flew in and we didn't see her again, we also didn't get the work done, but it was fun to go bird watching.

WOHOOO!
Our day was anything but normal yesterday. Three of the five of us were up at the crack of dawn, getting ready for another dance competition, this time at Lagoon. The plan was for it to just be Cait and I and we would go, do the dance and then go do some shopping. As you all know it rained like crazy yesterday and that was not our idea of fun. But round about 7:30 when I finally got Cait up, David decided to go with us. He figured there would be no lines and very few people because of the rain. His idea of fun. So we scrambled to get everyone ready instead of just two of us, took Cora to my sister, then headed off into the rain. We got to Lagoon at 9:30, Cait didn't dance until 11:30 (she was fabulous as usual). It was raining the entire time we were sitting there, then when she was done and we decided to go ride rides it was still raining and I think even harder. Stupid me, the first ride Cait and I went on was a water ride (I didn't know, cut me some slack). So needless to say we were soaked. It continued to rain until about 1:30. We were on our way out, we were going to just go through the haunted house, and the sun came out and the rain stopped, The kids all of a sudden had renewed energy and I still had blue lips, but we went on one ride after the other. We were there until 4:30. Soaked to the bone, but having the time of our lives. It was so much fun, even Dawson was loving it (we thought he would just chicken out). Plus since we decided to stay and play in the rain, we get to go back to Lagoon again in May for free. Yeah. Dave and I will probably use it as a date day, so we can ride better rides then the Ladybug drop. It was great. Because we were soaked and my hands were constantly wet I only took a few pics after the rain stopped.
My favorite quote from Dawson yesterday was when we were getting on the Dino Drop and this ride was right next to it, he just wanted to ride the space ships, so he kind of threw a fit. While we were sitting in the drop before it started to go, I asked him why he threw a fit and he told me "I was just acting like a Decepticon." (the bad transformers).

This was Dawson's second favorite ride, he could control if the plane went up or down, he loved it.
