So, I am sitting on the phone, waiting and waiting and waiting for the bank to answer and I noticed that there were a whole lot of things happen prior to us coming to Alabama. I thought I would start with David's birthday trip to Park City. We had a great time. I found a really nice hotel online for super cheap, we spent a load of money on the ghost tour, went swimming a lot and just all around enjoyed Park City. I must make a confession, I grew up in Utah and 2013 was my first trip to the old part of Park City. I had been to the outlets before but never down town. I actually had no idea there was a different part of the Park City area. Mind Blown!! I loved it!

Mr. Fat Guy!
Holy Toledo! This boy is FAT! I love every squishy inch of him. So sorry I haven't posted his pics. The move has left me a little frazzled. This weekend, however, will finally take us out of the nomad stage and into a permanent home! Halle Freakin' Lujah! So stay tuned for a month or so and I just might get pictures up of the place.
Without further gibber gabber here is the last three months of my fat guys pictures!
(4 Months)
(5 Months)
(6 Months)
I have really struggled the last three months to get a good non blurry picture of the kid. And this month I couldn't get him to hold still at all, too many wiggly parts have been discovered. But I can still see the difference just three months makes in a babes life. He now weighs right around 22 pounds and is almost 30 inches long. He is in full blown 12-18 month clothes. I keep trying to put 9 month outfits on him and they just squeeze him a little too much! Heaven help me he doesn't grow out of 18 month outfits in the next 6 months because then his birthday shirt won't fit.....ha ha ha ha!

Sweet Home Alabama
Boy, oh boy! What a trip! We have now been in Alabama for a little more than a month and truly I have intended to blog all about our trip getting here which was very long but not too painful, And then to write all about our adventures since we arrived. Alas however, the convenience of Facebook and Instagram have won out over blogging. But I feel kind of bad for my mom who does neither of those two social media outlets and so she has yet to see any of our adventurous pictures.
So, tonight as my whole family snoozes peacefully, I will take a minute to update this beautiful, yet very neglected blog.
We found this ginormous statue of Superman in no other place than Metropolis, Metropolis, Illinois that is.
The kids and I explored the Huntsville gardens. They had huge displays of fun kid things, like the chairs, and also checkers, a sprinkler, water can, dog house, sand castle, you know all the cool kids stuff.
This very cool aquarium restaurant is also in Nashville. We had fun exploring there and ended our trip at the zoo. Very cute zoo, but really when you have seen one elephant you've seen them all.
We hung out for the day, last Saturday, at the watermelon festival. Super fun and all the watermelon my boys could eat.
So, in a nut shell this has been our journey. We have seen a few other things like the whimsical woods at Buritt on the Mountain and we have done our fair share of swimming at the pool. We are having a great time and are really loving Alabama.
Night ya'll!

He's Three Months Old Now
Holy Crap he is getting so big. I would say I can't believe he is already three months old, but month 2 drug on forever. So in reality I am surprised he is ONLY three months old. I love his fatness and he is developing a cute little personality. I finally got him to giggle the other day, so I get the milkshake (it was a bet). He is 15 pounds, loves his binki and blanket (can't sleep without a blanket), he is full time sleeping in his crib now instead of the bassinet (he got too fat), he has come to expect the 12:30 walk to school, his nap schedule is very predictable now, he has found that toys taste pretty yummy and did I mention he is fat?

two months old
Here is Soy Bean and his monkey. I can't believe the difference a month has made in my little babe. I hate it, but love it at the same time. The second pic is my favorite. That is a definite hang on the wall.
This is little Bean on his blessing day. His outfit was a fiasco the week before. I thought I was so cool and could sew it all by myself. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha. It turned out terrible. The vest was too small and the pants too big. Thank heaven for Amazon and two day shipping. I ordered this cute little outfit the Thursday before the blessing at 9 pm, it got here Saturday morning. Close call if you ask me. His blessing was beautiful, but David always does a great job. Sawyer however, was a pill all through sacrament meeting. I didn't hear a bit of it.
Oh and isn't his blanket adorable? Grandma Childs made it, also finished just before the blessing. We are a great bit of procrastinators.
I am the coolest mom ever, according to this picture anyway. Yes, I had Easter Robin Eggs, I licked it and painted his lips blue. I am not ashamed, and the little squirt loved the sugary sweetness. :)
PS. In case you were wondering, NO I have not taken pictures of my other children in 2 months, not counting Easter. Told you I was a stellar mom.
one moth old
So much for keeping up on Soy Bean's progress. I am a super slacker but whatever, I am a new mom all over again. I am loving it! I went through a really tough patch when I first found out I was pregnant, which now that I look back on it I am very grateful. I won't go through all the dramatic details, but that really rough patch has made me very grateful for the gift I have been given. I cherish every moment with Beansly, even at 3 in the morning when he hasn't slept all night. I just realize I won't ever go through this new mom phase again. I will never get to nurse a little babe, dress him like I want to and hold his sweet little hand in mine. He loves me with every fiber of his being. And I can't believe that he is mine, all mine. David asked me which of all the babes I have enjoyed the most and for sure it is Sawyer. I haven't experienced postpartum depression like I did with the others, so he is much more fun since I don't have to deal with that as well. He is growing so fast, it makes me very sad.
Sawyer is actually almost 12 weeks old as I am typing this. He is much bigger next to his monkey now. I just wanted to post his monthly picture before I forget.
We Found It!!!!
HURRAY! We finally found our new home. I can't wait! Too bad I have to, for two more months! We are building in Stansbury Park and it won't be complete until the end of July (or so they say). We went out to Stansbury last night to take a peek at what had been done. The girls came with us and they are sooooooo excited. Everyone will finally get their own room and we get our own bathroom!!! You don't even know how excited I am for this. I can't think of anything else and all I do, all day every day, is pin home decorating ideas on Pinterest. Yikes! Two months can't pass fast enough.
Well, for a preview of our new home, I thought I would post some pictures of the process as it goes along. We are going to try to drive out to Stansbury every Friday evening to see how it is coming along.

My favorite part, double arches between the living room and great room. LOVE!
