Just a quick update. David is now down to 184. We went to my moms house this weekend and he didn't loose any weight, so he was a little disappointed. Yesterday, however, he ate well and this morning was down 4 more pounds. If any of you care I am now officially down to pre prego weight. All I needed to loose was 3 more pounds and I hit that a few days ago. And Cora Belle slept through the night last night, 9:30 pm to 5:38 am. Yeah I am so happy. And one more thing, I got a hair cut. I am so happy to finally have all that hair gone. I think we cut off 8 inches or so. It's an A-line cut so it is really short in the back. I LOVE it.
One more thing, I would like to thank all five of you that voted on Dave's weight loss. Two of you thought he would loose it all, I thought 15-20 and 2 thought 10 or less. If you were one of those you loose, he has already lost 11.

Halloween

I know that Halloween is still more than a week away, but on Saturday Tooele had a carnival. So needless to say I dressed up the kids and their cousins and headed down the street for some good ole fashion fun. Okay so it wasn't that fun because I had four kids in a crowded building by myself and it was a little stressful, but I think the kids had fun.

Dave's Lost 8 Pounds
This morning Dave was a little disappointed, he didn't loose any weight. However, he has lost eight pounds since he started his diet last week. So for all you that are trying to loose weight and think 3 pounds in one week is great, just ask Dave how he lost 8 in the same amount of time.

Daves Weight Loss Blog
Dave wants to loose weight. So here on our family blog, we are going to tell the story of his weight loss. Two days ago he started to eat better ie.; low carbs, more vegetables and fruit, no sugar and no mixing of carbs and proteins. He started this little journey at the huge weight of 195 pounds. He is already down to 191 and by Christmas he wants to be down to at least 170. We are going to post a survey on this blog so you can all chime in about how much weight Dave will loose. Feel free to add a comment or two so we know what you are thinking about Dave's journey. We will also post a pic every now and then (that ought to be fun).

Happy Pumpkin Day!
We decided as a family that today would be our pumpkin picking day. For the first time since we moved into our house we planted a pumpkin patch. I liked the idea, but didn't really pay attention to it and the kids just thought it was fun. So we boiled some water, bought some donuts and had a pumpkin picking party for FHE. The kids loved it and it was great family time
Some one had to take the pic, so for once Dave was behind the camera.
Caits donut was supposed to be white with red stripes, but David ate it so we told her that the red stripes turned yellow.
I think that's a donut Buddy is putting in his mouth. You never know with him.
Ya know this pic just seems to fit don't ya think. :)

Gone Fishing

Cait and David love to go fishing. All most everyday Dave comes home and wants to go fishing. Since it is a bit cooler now he gets a bite near every cast, and always comes home with his limit. Now if he would only eat them as fast as he catches them.
If you can believe it, this pic is of Cora's third camping trip. Yeah and she was only a month old when we went on this trip. Her first one she was only 2 weeks. She was a trooper and actually easier to handle then Dawson. We had good times. I slept in the car on this trip and set the alarm off trying to turn the light on so I could see to feed the baby. I scared Dave out of the tent and probably half the mountain. We found some pretty fun places to take pics.

We are Bengals Fans
If you didn't know already Dave is a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan. So the first Monday night they were supposed to be playing, we all dressed in our Bengals garb and got ready with snacks and drinks and sat down to watch. Well what we didn't know is that ESPN bought the Monday Night Football rights. So we got all dressed up for nothing and Dave spent the night on the internet watching the score change. Luckily for us they won, so Dave wasn't too miffed that we missed it.
