I Heart Dogs

I have always loved dogs. My whole life I have had a dog, minus the three years Dave and I were married and we couldn't. My family had mutts mostly, but we had a few breeds. Nika was a Dalmatian. She was very hyper and would play fetch all the time. We had a dog named Shaft. You could find a rock, throw it in the river and he would jump in and get the same rock. And he leapt like a deer, really fun to watch . Sissy was our favorite dog. She was a mutt but loyal as any dog could ever possibly be. I remember very clearly the day we lost her. Very, very sad. She used to sit out side around 3 p.m. and wait until she could see us coming home from school and then run to meet us and walk us home.
Our current dog is a Beagle. I heart Beagles. They are the most adorable dog out there. Labby's problem is she is stupid, and not loyal at all. We have had to get her out of the pound several times. But I love the dumb dog. She spent the first two years of her life in a lab (hence the name Labby) where they tested the drugs that David's work produces (sad I know). The reason I am loving Labby today is that she was being a stupid dog. I decided she needed a bath so I hooked up the hose grabbed the shampoo and started working. When I was finished I said now don't go rolling in the mud. And of course what did she do, rolled in the mud. It was really funny to watch. She looked liked she had the worse case of flees any dog had ever had. It made me laugh so I had to share. I love dogs, what would we do without them?

Vacuum less, wash less, spend less. Shall I go on?
