And today I ordered my second blog book. I wanted to get it done today because I would save myself 7 bucks. I am really excited, but I didn't notice that in the cover picture I am missing a leg, ooops. Oh well we can't all be perfect.

Another First!
For the first time ever in nearly 9 years of marriage, I am sleeping alone. Dave started his new schedule this week. He left last night at 8:30 p.m. and got home this morning at 5:30 a.m. Surprisingly I slept just fine. There are a few good things about him working this shift. 1: He gets to be home in the morning when the kids go to school, 2: He gets paid more :), 3: He does homework while we are all sleeping, 4: He gets to put the kids to bed before he leaves. The bad things, 1: I sleep alone, 2: He drives early in the morning and I am worried about him, 3: Weekends are going to be rough, 4: Trying to be quiet during the day. I think we will be okay, it's about 6's. I need to find some curtains for the bedroom so that it is dark. Today he slept with a bandanna over his eyes, but so far so good we haven't woken him up.

He needs to be involved with the scouts! Nine years and not one night away? Matthew was gone almost twice as many nights as that last year alone!!!
I meant as twice as many nights as years last year. He was gone over 20 nights all for scouts!!!!!
That can be way hard. If you ever need to escape during the day, come over here. I TOTALLY understand the sleeping-husband-during-the-day.
