One of my favorite parts was hanging out with Dawson. He was my agent. He went with me on my hunt to make sure I found all of my treats. He took it to the agent level and talking to me only in short sentences and called me ma'am the whole time. It makes me smile just thinking about it. 😄

January and February
Little boy isn't always an angel. We were two minutes from heading out the door and here he comes, covered in Nutella. I guess he was hungry or just wanted to give me more gray hair, but either one, he looks adorable in a chocolate beard!
Miss Cait got straight A's (shocker I know) so she got to have a special date with mom. We went to The Melting Pot and the movie, Into the Woods. It was super fun. We were both wearing new shoes that were killing our feet. It was a relief to sit down and take them off.
Happy day before Valentine's Day! Of course the kids all had their parties the day before Vday. I stenciled all their tshirts and made Caits skirt. They looked adorable!
Happy Valentines Day to me! I am really starting to feel guilty about Vday being focused on me. Dave really knows how to pull at my heart strings. He sent me on a scavenger hunt through our favorite spots. Each spot had a treat and the last spot was at Hayes Nature Preserve where he was sitting by the river with roses and playing our song. I cried and it was so sweet. I then got a spa day at home. A hot bath and a massage from the kids. I loved every second!
On Vday is also when Huntsville had their Mardi Gras parade. It was fun but much shorter than last years so I was a bit bummed. 😔
And then Porky Pig turned two!! I wanted to do something fun with him on Thursday and since I was watching little buddy Parks I decided to take them to Build-A-Bear. It was a blast! I had so much fun chasing them around. We were the only ones in the store so we had free reign. Parks picked out the dog first and it's the only one Porky didn't throw back. I had to get the pups a Tshirt so we could tell them apart.
I tried hard to get a decent birthday picture of the boy, but this is what I got. The shirt fits the situation perfectly.
And then it snowed! We had the craziest week of weather. With ice and low temps and then finally snow, all but Wednesday school was late start or early release! It was nutty! The kids were ecstatic about the snow. Cait was sure she was going to go a whole year without touching snow. But then there was Porky. He didn't care a lick about it and turned around and went back in the house.

I'm glad Bean like Nutella but it was kind of a waste. He's so handsome, can't believe he's two. Oh and the snow...love snow storms in the South. Can't wait to experience them. And David spoils you. Too cute.
