Santas on his way

We had lots of fun "hunting" for our tree Saturday. It took 4 hours. We just couldn't find the right tree. But after that long we just settled for a 7 foot giant. It looks really pretty but it is huge. Now our home is decked out for the holidays and I'm loving it.
I also did some web shopping this weekend. Dawson is easy to shop for but Cait wants everything so it's hard to narrow it down. But I did some shopping and now I'm ready for more.
My dear sis in law Kristy is going to watch our children on Friday so that we can finish our shopping and go on a date. I am just a little more than excited. I Love Christmas!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is finally here!!! I have been waiting and waiting and I finally get to decorate my tree in three days (I have to go cut it down first). We are leaving today and spending the rest of the week in Gunnison. On Saturday morning we all pile in my dads big red truck, head to the west hills and go Christmas tree hunting. It is a great tradition and I love it. Then Saturday afternoon we will come home, have our tradition of the Feast of Fools which we eat a lot of junk just after Thanksgiving (Dave will probably gain all 13 pounds back). We decorate the tree and the rest of the house, and if we are luck the tree will not fall over this year. It fell I think 3 times last year. So that is a break down of what we will be doing for this Thanksgiving weekend.



Now this cute pic is just of my kids hats. I made them all and just wanted to show you the great talent I have picked up, HA HA HA!!! I hope you enjoy.

Our Family!!!

We went to Logan a little more than a week ago, and had my friend Stephanie take our family pictures. This one is the first that she sent to me. I Love IT!!!! Thank you so much Steph.

Hey, Hey Hey! Fat Albby's in the house.

This is my little fatty!!! She is just so darn cute!!! Can you believe that she will be 4 months a week from today? She is just a joy. And for those who have not seen her and think, 'Wow she has AnJaleena lips', thank you but you're wrong. That fat lip is nothing more than a birth mark that should and better go away in a year or two. She is fine and healthy, just with a little fat lip.

I knitted this hat for Caitlin, but decided to try it on Cora. HA HA I discovered I have a Fat Albert friend in my house. I don't know the characters name that wears his hat over his eyes, but I'll just call her Fat Albby. I thought she looked so cute I would post a pic. She was mad at me while I was taking the pic, she was ready for a nap.

And the two monkey's are Cait and Daws of course. There is a hole in the wall of our basement and we store stuff back there. Well the kids discovered it and that is where they play now. Kind of like their own little hide out.

Poor The Buddy:(

My little guy is sick. He has been so sad for days and we finally took him to the doctor for some help. He has strep throat. Poor little guy. But now we have some antibiotics and he should be better in a day or so. It kind of ruined some plans, but that is the life of a family. Sorry to all those we accidentally exposed him to. I hope no one gets it because of us. It was really hard to tell what was wrong with him because he didn't really have a fever and when he did it was short lived. So forgive us.
In other news, Caitlin cried at her very first movie last night. We got 8 movies for 20 bucks at the pon shop on the corner, and I bought Titanic. Well she's a girl and at the end when the Irish mother is telling her children a story Caitlin looked at me and wondered why the mommies and children had to die. I started to cry because she was crying. It was a sweet little mommy daughter moment.

Got Milk!

We were having quite the dinner tonight and I thought I would post a pic of the silly things we do at our house. I made smoothies and all three of them, without persuassion, ended up with a milk mustache. I thought it was cute so I took a pic. And yeah we always eat with TP on the table (Not). Dave split his lip and his hamburger was too big and it made it bleed.

It's a New Month

November is upon us, and I have had a hard time getting this blog to work. I keep trying to post a message, but it just wouldn't work. So today is the day that my first November blog is going up. I mostly wanted to write because my mom wanted to see some pictures. We had a very busy Halloween season. We went to 5 parties including the one that my mom wants to see pics of. Really it's just because it's of her grandchildren. So here's a pic, finally.

David is doing just fine with his weight loss. He has now lost a total of 13 pounds. He feels it is being a little sluggish, but he looks great. He has also started to work out at the gym in his office. Besides the fact that he is coming home late every day I'm glad he has the chance to work out.

So there is a little update. The kids and I haven't done anything great, or I would report on our progress. Oh one thing about Cora. She giggled today!!!! It was so cute. The little things that make a mother smile.
