Happy Birthday To Me!

Yesterday I turned 29, ugh. I know that's still young but the thought of getting older hit me with this birthday. Oh well I can't turn time around I guess I will just have to get used to the idea that there are only 11 more years until I am 40, double ugh. Anyway, here's a random list of what we did yesterday.
Make hair bows (super cute by the way), take kids to school, go to ObGYN (yea), pick kids up from school, wash car, watch cute kids, break a pinata full of my fave candies, get presents from kids, eat too much coconut, go to store, buy toaster, pick up dinner, eat, blow out candles, Dawson ate candle, have cake and ice cream (Girl Scout thin mint ice cream, yummy), watch AI, go to bed.
All in all, it was a very relaxing day, only sad point, Dave, Cait and Cora didn't feel great so I got to play nurse yesterday too. The only thing that would have made it perfect is if I had slept last night, but I was up every hour to two hours with the sick baby (she was coughing and couldn't stop). I love my birthday's and I loved that I got so much attention from friends and family, sometimes you need a reminder that people really do love you. Thanks All.
Here are some pics of our fun pinata time.
We only had these candles. 28+1= 29Lephrechaun Trap.

WOOP WOOP

I AM GOING TO BOSTON!!! YEA!!!! We finally made the decision and I bought the tickets today. I love my husband. I wanted to go over the Fourth of July weekend, but he thought it would be too busy, so we were looking at other dates. Until he told me he knew how much it meant to be to be there for one of my Fave Holiday's so he told me to just go ahead and book it. SO I did, at 9:55 this morning. I can't wait. We will be gone for 6 days, and we are going to have so much fun. Many may ask? Why Boston? Dave's cousin lives out there so we really only have to pay for the tickets to get there, which rocks. Thanks DER's!!!! We'll see you soon!!

Fun weekend

At 5:30 a.m. Friday morning David woke me up and told me to find a hotel somewhere near by with fun things to do. Of course I couldn't go to sleep after that. By 6 a.m. I had a hotel booked at Thanksgiving Point and a whole itinerary planned out. I couldn't wait all day long I was in the best mood ever and we weren't leaving until 5 and wouldn't get to the hotel until 6. But yea for me, Dave called me at 2:50 and told me to pick him up at 4 instead. It was a mad dash to get out of the house in 40 minutes, but I did it because I rock and we were on our way.
We stayed at the Hampton Inn, which was so nice. White down comforters and fluffy pillows. A normal bathroom with separate shampoo and conditioner instead of a 2 in 1 (that means alot to me, 2 in 1's just don't work for me). We played in the pool for a couple of hours and just watched cool "How'd they do that" shows. Then Saturday we went to Cabela's and the Museum of Ancient Life. I really like the museum but it is super expensive and only took an hour to go through it. The kids were just too little to really enjoy it. Oh well I liked it and we were out of the house that is all that matters. So all in all it was great (super great) and much needed. I just wish the good feeling carried over through Sunday and Monday. Normal life is just not as fun as a vacation.
I will post pictures later I am not in the mood to up load them right now.

Update on goals

I only need a few sentences for this post. I pretty much bombed every goal. It took all month to get my recommend signed so I didn't make it to the temple. I did make a job chart for myself. I didn't follow it but I made it. We only had FHE once, and I only did yoga maybe a total of 5 times (which I am feeling the affects of not doing it). I haven't made it very far in the BofM. Two things I was better on was the computer time and spending more quality time with the kids. Oh well that's why I have a full year to accomplish my goals. Wish me luck for March.

I'm a Little Slow

It was a very busy end of the week last week. First, as you all know Cydi passed away on Wednesday night. When Dave left to go visit her, I cried until he got back and then cried some more when he got home and then cried some more Thursday morning. I will miss that sweet lady greatly, even though I know she is better off.

On Thursday my sister and I were able to take our furling to the Draper Temple. Which I must admit I was a little disappointed about. The last time I went to a Temple open house (Timpanogas) we had a personal tour and got to learn about what we were seeing (which is beneficial for those that have never been through the temple, to learn a little bit about it). And they had plastic on the floor instead of wearing shoe covers, so it was very loud and trying to explain the temple to the little ones in a very noisy Temple was a little distracting. It was a beautiful Temple, I loved everything about the Temple it's self just not the tour.

Then Friday, the family showed up. My parents brought my two nieces and one of my nephews to play. My sis-in-law was so cute and made a cute little slumber party bag for the girls. Fully loaded with jammies, candy, finger nail polish and the classic slumber party movie, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. There ended up being my other nephews here and alot of Xbox playing, but it was great fun for all.
Her are the girls from the left: Meg, Caitlin, and Senora. They are my only two nieces on my side (and they are sisters), we have a lot of boys in my family.
And Saturday, Dawn had a house warming party. She didn't have one when she moved in so she had one for being there a year. My whole family came up, we played at the park with the furling, had a BBQ, played games and had S'Mores. Super lots of fun. Only problem was my husband was gone at work all weekend and I was alone.

Sunday was horrible (okay just the first half). Every kid and I mean every kid in nursery was screaming. And I don't know about you, but when kids cry for too long I want to just cry. So I was a little emotionally worn out after church. Luckily David got home shortly after and I was given a little reprieve and a shoulder to cry on.

So all in all it was a very emotional and busy end of the week. Lets hope this one is a little less stressful. Oh wait it will be Dave has most of the week off from school and there is nothing else to do.
