Here we are at the end of another year. How crazy 2007 was. So much has happened, and since I don't send out a Christmas card I suppose I will write our little brag letter on here.
In January I found out that I was prego with Cora. I knew from the beginning that it was a girl, even though everyone kept telling me that by saying that I was cursing myself and was going to end up with a boy, but I knew better. That was the beginning of a very long pregnancy for me. Even though I wasn't sick, I did not enjoy it this time. And then for her to come a month early was a little too much to handle. But I recovered and couldn't imagine life without Miss Belle.
I have also enjoyed teaching my first full year of the youth Sunday School class. I have had 2 soon to be 3 missionaries go out and I just really enjoy teaching those kids.
David is still kicking it in the Bishopric. Same old same old. Only two years to go and he'll have served his time. It's really not been that bad, I just like to joke that it's been terrible. Dave has also accomplished alot at work. He started a new program that combines all of the suppliers information and if they had any bad marks or good marks against their products. Now his boss wants him to make a report card that will hopefully make it to the corporate level.
Caitlin is 4 and soon to be 5!! Wow my baby is almost 5. I can't believe that. She is smart as a whip and is working really hard on writing and reading. She can read a few words and is progressing every day. She has been taking dance all year. She competed at two competitions, both at witch her team took first place. We heard the Cat in the Hat song one to many times by the end of that dance season. Thankfully she is on to a new year and new dances. She is also having a great time with her BFF's Kaitlyn and Sariah. They love each other so much and it is fun to see them in Primary together and to hear all the things they work out together. They are so much fun.
Dawson is a handful. He turned two this year and you all know what happens on that birthday. He is just crazy sometimes. He loves to learn. He knows all of his ABC's and his numbers, colors, shapes, the whole shebang. He LOVES CARS cars, Lighting is his favorite, and Thomas trains. Just recently he has also discovered guns and dinosaurs. He loves to play with Caitlin, even though half the time he is pulling her hair or biting or pinching. And now our project with Dawson is potty training. Wish us luck.
Now Cora Belle. She is just a joy. She is so easy and happy all the time. Her favorite time is the morning and will always give you a good morning smile. She has just gotten into the toy thing and likes to be entertained. She is sleeping through the night and loves sweet potatoes. What did we ever do without Miss Belle.
Well that is us in a nut shell. Thank you for all that you all do for us and the spirit you share with us. Happy New Year too all.

Christmas is over and David's getting Fat.
Yeah my blog works again. I want to post some fun Christmas pictures, but I am into returning somethings from Christmas that didn't work. I just wanted to see if it would finally open. Butin reference to my title, Dave has gained back 4 pounds this holiday season. But he is not giving up hope. He'll lose it again I am sure.
Check back soon for some good pics.

Gingerbread House!
I am mostly updating for updating sake. We put together a gingerbread house last week and Cait was the only one to hold still long enough for a cute picture. I bought the house kit at Walmart and then Dave bought extra candies to go on it. At first I thought it looked like a big glob of candy but now I think it's cute.
These pretty ornament are on our tree. We had a red and gold tree for 6 years and since our tree fell over 3 times last year and broke all of our ornaments we decided to switch to blue and silver and I love it.
Cait got some cowboy boots from her cousins and on Sunday wanted to get all dressed up like a cowgirl. She said when she was done that all she needed now was a horse. Well don't say anything to her, but Grandpa Childs bought 3 horses last week. She'll get to wear those boots in sooner than she thinks.

Pictures Are Here
I finally downloaded some pics. I hope you enjoy them.
The first good snow of the year and you better believe that Cait was out in it. Snow is her favorite thing in the world. She cries when Spring comes and it stops snowing. And since she was in it the other two had to be too. Well actually Cora went out for picture purposes only.
This is David's favorite set of trees at Temple Square. How they get the lights clear to the top of the thing I will never know. I do know that I liked to be kissed sometimes.
Caitlin is a pro at building snowmen. She does it all by herself. This is the first of the season. She wants to build him a friend today.

Christmas Is Already Catching UP With Me
So I have been so busy the last week that I haven't posted any good blogs. But if I get some time today I am going to post some pics.
Dave and I finally got a date. I think it is the first since Cora was born. He was so tired from his test Saturday morning that we didn't do much but it was still a great couple of hours away from the kids and we got free dessert at Famous Daves.
I need to update on Dave's weight loss. He has now lost 18 punds. I think that he will make 20 in no time at all. He is looking really skinny and sometimes I am worried for him, but he looks great!!!
Come back again tommorrow and I will have some fun pictures posted.

Santas on his way
We had lots of fun "hunting" for our tree Saturday. It took 4 hours. We just couldn't find the right tree. But after that long we just settled for a 7 foot giant. It looks really pretty but it is huge. Now our home is decked out for the holidays and I'm loving it.
I also did some web shopping this weekend. Dawson is easy to shop for but Cait wants everything so it's hard to narrow it down. But I did some shopping and now I'm ready for more.
My dear sis in law Kristy is going to watch our children on Friday so that we can finish our shopping and go on a date. I am just a little more than excited. I Love Christmas!!!!
