Today I raked the leaves. I want to say "little did I know" but I knew perfectly well what was going to happen as soon as the word was out that there was a large pile of leaves in the back yard. First round were the little kids which was great, because by the time the big kids got to them there were a lot of knees to the head and heads being sat on by someone else. Great fun was had by all. We even had fresh apples right off the tree. What says fall more than fresh apples and leaves...? It was a very sweet little memory for my memory bank.
And then there are the three little girl friends that make me happy every time they are together. Caitlin, Sariah and Kate have been friends since they were too young for nursery. Today they had dance. Getting three girls ready for dance is hilarious. But what was so cute was when I dropped them off they huddled and gabbed and laughed as they were walking in the building. Oh what I would give for this little friendship to last a life time. How cool would that be?

Why can't jump in leaves? It would have to be a darn big pile, but it would be fun!
