Memorial Day Weekend!

We went to Doug and Emmie's out in Mayfield on Monday morning. The restaurant used to be in Layton and Dave and his dad loved going there, but Udot is putting in a new freeway right through where the restaurant used to be so they moved to Mayfield. We decided to take everyone out to breakfast. They give you huge portions of homemade breakfast food. Super yummy and very filling. You can tell by Cait's huge pancake too. She only ate half of it. Dave made her a deal if she could eat it all, but she got too full too fast.
Coraline got her first real haircut yesterday. She had cut it herself about a month ago, you couldn't really tell, but why have one hair shorter than the rest and she has had those long locks since she was born and they were getting snarly and broken, so it was time. I cried and I think Dave is not too happy, but she looks cute and it will grow back, just without the curl is all (insert me still crying right here). My baby isn't so little anymore wha wha wha!
We went to the mountains on Sunday with Grandma and Grandpa and the uncles. It was super great fun. I love going to the mountains.
Uncle Craig erected a swing the kids all loved playing on.
Serious daddy daughter time looking at shells from the lake. Notice the headband Cait is wearing in this picture and the one below. I made it, along with four others. They are reversible and super cute and easy. Cait and her girl cousin's loved them.
S'mores lots and lots of S'mores. Cait is an expert marshmallow cooker. Yummy!
Keaton giving Cora a ride in the dump truck.
Even a little wild life. If you can't tell (I couldn't if I hadn't seen it myself) that's a beaver. We were walking around the lake following him. We even got to see his big flat tale.
Baseball. If you zoom in on David's had you can tell he is wearing a child size mitt. Craig was using the bigger one so Dave opted for the smaller.
Sewing with Grandma. Cora was way into grandma's stitching. She watched her for more than 10 minutes.
